By downloading or using the Mimikri app or this website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The game
Mimikri is a guessing party game: one player holds the phone to their forehead while others act out or describe the word on screen. The app requires no account, works offline, and is intended for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store or Google Play terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or extract the app's card database or other content except as allowed by law.
4. Fair use of the Service
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its ads
- Misrepresent the Service as your own or as endorsed by anyone it references
5. Third-party names
Mimikri's decks contain names of films, songs, shows, public figures, brands, and dishes used purely as words to guess in a game — the way a quiz or crossword refers to real things. All trademarks, film titles, and names belong to their respective owners. Mimikri is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them.
6. Play safe
Mimikri involves holding a phone to your forehead, tilting it, and — let's be honest — some dramatic acting. Play in a safe space, keep a firm grip on your phone, and be mindful of your surroundings. You're responsible for playing (and acting) responsibly.
7. Ads
The Service is supported by third-party ads shown only between rounds. Ad content is provided by the ad network, not by us, and clicking an ad may take you to third-party sites we don't control.
8. Disclaimer & liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
